Meet the Owner
Hello, My name is Jessica McGinnis.
It is my pleasure to tend to plants and arrange baskets for my customers to enjoy. It is my hope that these plants not only bring you joy, but also point to our wondrous Creator. The same Creator who fashioned each leaf and petal formed each one of us with that much more care and attention.
Our small beginnings
Jennifer McGinnis began Little Village Greenhouse just a few years out of high school in a singular hoophouse. When she married Paul Laatsch, her younger sister Jessica assumed the business and has grown it to be what it is today with her eye for design and business sense. Throughout the 15+ years we have been in business, family has always been involved. One can often find one or two (or three!) of Jessica's sisters in the greenhouse watering or designing pots. Many friends and family have also spent a week or two getting their hands dirty filling containers and transplanting plants. We are truly a little village, and it is our pleasure to serve the Fox Valley area.
